Okay, so this is my first attempt, the tat is supposed to be 'L1'. Is it too thin?? It looks like I wrote it with a ball point pen. The bun did great, didn't flinch much, which made me wonder if I was doing it right. So do you think this would be acceptable at a show or does it need to be thicker?

Not a good idea. ;) You could get DQ'ed. Even though the tattoo is permanent, they would probably be able to tell that marker is covering it, and might think that the marker is the only tattoo. ;)

It looks legible to me. I've seen MUCH worse tattoos on rabbits that haven't been kicked off for unreadable tattoos. If you have a tattoo pen, you could always go over it a few times, and try to darken it up. ;)

Yep looks good to me too. I always practice on a banana before i start tattooing just to get my hand back in the feel
