I have already posted in here about Daisy, who may or may not be a french lop? ANyway my friend weighed her earlier and according to her scales she is somewhere around 3 1/2 pounds, which is larger than Abby who is 16 weeks old (lionhead). Is this fairly large for her age? She is barely smaller than my holland lop when he was full size.

Here is a pic of her and Abby. Not good but couldn't do better. Abby wants to kill Daisy.

If she is a French Lop, then no that's not too big for a 9 week old, because she is growing and she is going to weigh a lot. ;)

It's not large for a 9 week old baby, because she is a different breed that your Lionhead; and not all breeds are the same weight/size ;)

Like my sister said it is ok. French Lops get to be about 8 or so pounds I believe. They are a big bunny!

Nope, sounds about right! French lops are a minimum of 10lbs and upwards. Bruno was 7lbs at 5 months old. He matured to be 12lbs. Females usually are larger than the males, so I would expect her at around 12-13lb by my guess with Bruno's growth patterns.

I want to see the photo of the big baby! My littlest guy is 3 1/2 pounds and he's full grown...

Awwww she's so cute and gorgeous! I'm slightly jealous... I love lops, the bigger the better! Your lionhead is precious too of course :)

She looks just like a french lop! Looks like Marley when she was that age! :D Sooo adorable! :biggrin2:

I'm pretty biased but I think she is absolutely beautiful! The best part is that the beauty isn't only skin deep. She has a truly beautiful soul.

So cute, where did you get her?

I saw french lops at Lucasville, Ohio last weekend. First time I had some any in a long time, they where much bigger than her. I believe they where around 3-4 months, huge ears. Look like english lop mixes :p

Well he (yes Daisy is a boy- another thread) is only about 9 weeks of age so he will get bigger. It's just funny the size difference already between him and Abby. He is a real lover though.
