I have a bag of Lucerne Farms HI Fiber bagged hay that I was using for my horse. I have since taken him off of it. Is this okay for my rabbit?

How old is your rabbit?
Lucerne hay is really only suitable for growing buns under 6months.

Horse quality hay is good for bunnies. I'd finish the bag off with the bunny then you can reevaluate when the bag is done. :)

How much of the hay is left? I assume it's Lucerne/alfalfa hay.

I agree that if you're bunny's not young (under six months) then I wouldn't be feeding it as it can be a bit rich. You could probably mix a small amount in with the regular hay every day, but I wouldn't be feeding it solely or as the majority.

It's usually better not to feed it and feed a grass hay instead, especially if you are already feeding a lucerne based pelleted feed. Lucerne/alfalfa is high in calcium, so can cause urinary/kidney issues for some rabbits. It is also high in protein and can cause weight gain.
