-My Bunnies Cage. 2lb Male Dwarf Lionhead named Smudge. This was the biggest cage I could get to fit into my small apartment. Inside the cage on the top shelf he has his water bowl with back-up water bottle, the tray seen in photo for pellets and treats, and a hay loft. He also likes to stretch out and sleep on this shelf.

On the main floor is a log thing stretched out below the shelf with hay mat over it. on this level there is also a corner litter tray and an edible log he can also climb into.

He gets lots of run around time, free roaming around my living room/kitchen, usually 30 min in the morning, 30 min during lunch and 4 hrs or more at night. Is this is enough? I can;t really have anything wider.

A friend of mine has that same cage for her two holland lops with a similar set up. It seems to work great. They are able to go in and out by themselves even with the cage a little bit elevated. She doesn't use the ramp and has added carpet matts cut to fit the shelf and the bottom of the cage to make clean up easier. She just takes them out and shakes them every couple of days. Her bunnies are out most of the day but even with two in a cage that size they both have room to move and stretch out. I was pretty impressed with that cage.

This is plenty, plenty big enough for a Netherland Dwarf. I have my pet Nethie in one of my temporary, junior grow-out cages and she looks tiny in there! lol

Can he jump to the shelf? Id take out the ramp for extra floor space.
