Is there an iPhone app that works with the forum?

I lurk on RO all day on my iPhone but just wish there was an easier way to load pages and posts without having to load a bazillion page instances and keep bookmarks up the wazoo on Safari. Also the textbox is really klugey on the safari interface once my composed post gets bigger than the textbox.

Does anyone know of a forum usage app that works with the RO forum's format/engine? Or maybe what engine it is so I can try to hunt an app down that is compatible? Is it called ultrabb?

I barely know my Ipod Touch. I haven't seen aps forum related but I have only downloaded the free ones

Maybe some enterprising person could get an iPhone integration for RO.......
I'd even be willing to pay (a reasonable amount) for an app that would make reading RO on my phone easier.

I too would LOVE one! It would make posting/reading so much easier since I'm not always at my laptop.

The App store has a few forum apps, for not so much money, that say they are compatible with v bulletin and phpBB forums, but I think (according to the bottom of the site) that RO is UltraBB. I guess that would mean it's not compatible with RO, and I would think that the forum would have to sign up to something or... something to make it available on that application. Looking at the apps, there was one called TapTalk I think that had a free version that was read-only, and a paid version that allowed posting on it.

It would be great though! I'd definitely pay for it.

Jen, I tried the TapTalk free (read-only) version yesterday. It seemed to have a list of compatible forums you could choose to read from a main menu. I think I read on the description of the regular TapTalk that to be compatible, the forum would just have to contact the app developers and add a script to the forum page? (That may have been a different one, I looked through a bunch of them....)

Maybe Pipp or ElfMommy has any input on this?

Or someone out there with a Mac and programming skills wants to create an app especially for RO?

Yeah I tried all the ones available and it does not work with RO. I would pay good money to get an app as well that is compatible. There's gotta be one out there. What if we could ask the people who make ultrabb? Is that even possible?
