I went on vacation and the keeper let out my male and female out together (she thought they were both females) my female changed behaviour, she should be two weeks pregnant if she is pregnant, she wants to attack when i put my hand in jer cage, she used to do that way before but now ahe really hates when I put my hand in there, she doesnt pull out fur but I think her nipples her bigger now, I have photos of her nipples if anyone wants to confirm. She does seem a little fatter than before, more than my males.
I was supposed to sterilize my males but the vet said they were too young and I was supposed to go anytime now but I think he got my female pregnant, so with what I wrote do you think she's pregnant? She's a 7 month female fawn dwarf rabbit

it's possible that she is. I guess you need to give her nestbox so she can deliver babies when she is due if she is pregnant/

She's supposed to be due on the 28th, Ill have a nest box ready for her on the 27th. Ill post on where if she has given birth or not

give her the nest box a week before as she needs to make her nest!
if you give it the day before she might make a nest somewhere else as the babies will be delivered in that nest.

just put some hay and/or shavings in the nesting box and let her do the rest :) hope all goes well keep us updated!

It's best just to assume she's pregnant and then you're prepared. We put out nestboxes on day 28 usually. I learned that if you put it out too early the doe will sit in it or treat it like a litter box.

Yes I'll keep everyone updated, I just looked at the calendar and she's actually due in the 21st so sooner then I thought so i'll put the nesting box with hay on the 19th or the 20th, and yes if I do put the nesting box early she will use it as a litter box

I have always put it in about 5days before and my does never use it as a litter box as they know where there litter box is situated :)

Put it in the 19th then just to give her time to build her basic nest :)

I'll be putting the nestbox tonight :)
She should be due in two more days, moment of truth hehe ^^

Nope she started pooping in the nest box lol, she is really fat, no babies yet, there should be babies on the 21st or later, I clean her nest box every few hours and Ill stop untill I see her actually use it for nesting

Hehe, the dinosaur just minding his own business 🐰

Just in case I will bring the babies to the vet when they're ready to leave to get their vaccinations

My girls will also do that if I put in the nest box early :( It's so annoying!

Hopefully, if she does have babies, there will be no problems and all will go well!

Love the dinosaur in her cage! My bunnies would shred it :D

That dinosaur is adorable! I have a hard green rabbit in a couple of my bucks cages (practice for the girls) and they love them ahahah :)

Keep us updated with her progress, nesting and babies (if she does have any)!!!! :) good luck to you and your bun in the coming days

The nestbox is something closed, correct? not just another litter box, right? It should be closed on all sides except one entrance.
She is adorable and looks like my FooFoo

Still no nesting yet. Due tomorrow though
Luckily she doesn't shred the plushies in her cage, she just poops out of her litter box but just pees in it lol, which makes a mess
