My bunny use to eat Kaytee brand food but I soon found out that it wasn't a good choice and to feed him Oxbow. So I have been fedding him Oxbox but he seems to be gaining weight and pooping a lot! What is the best food to feed an adult rabbit? I also give him hay that he doesn't eat very much of and sometimes I give him parsley. He is super picky too so I am having problems with his nutrition. Help...

Well, bunnies are supposed to be poop machines. They're a big hit with organic gardeners because of all the fertilizer they produce! An adult bunny should be on a timothy-hay based pellet, and should get at most 1/4 per 5lbs of bunny. I give my 4-5 lb bunnies 1 tablespoon, but they get a lot of veggies and eat tons of hay so they're good with that amount. Kaytee Timothy Complete is an ok pellet, but Oxbow Bunny Basics T is better. Oxbow 15/23 is alfalfa-based, which is only good for younger bunnies.
