Is he just play?

I know I've been asking a billion questions lately, so sorry if I'm hogging the board.

I didn't give Acorn any veggies today and he finally starting eating the Oxbow Bunny Basics 15/23 I put down for him along with his hay. He LOVES hay, but I was worried he'd never get any pellets in his as he is still a baby. Anyway, he started whipping around and hopping in and out of his litter pan, jumping toward the "bed" side. He kept doing this as if he was startled, but there was nothing but me. He would also get some sips of water and nibbles of hay or pellets in between. I've never seen him this hyper in his cage before? Is he playing now that he has more room than before?

Welcome to the Bunny 500... a sure sign of a happy little rabbit. My mini-rex will do the 500 in a 2-ft square hay box - a sight to behold.

Are you letting him out much? Have you seen him do binkies yet?

Yup, its a bunny 500 (or as I like to call them, a spaz attack). It means your bunny is happy. There's no need to be worried.

Darwin does that a lot too. Its quite funny, just watch out: Darwin once got very into it and crashed into the cage wall, and he was out fora little bit. He came back at the vets, and scared my 3/4 to death!!!!:shock:

Devon does that on occassion, he'll get so crazy that he starts bumping things. One time Amber was eating some veggies that were in the middle of the floor, and he ran right into her:shock:. Devon just kept on going, but you should have seen Amber's reaction! She shook her head a few times and then kept on eating. She didn't know what hit her!

LOL, yea sometimes when i let Beans into the living room she binkies so much and tries to show off and she won't watch where she is going and binky herself smack into the wall. then she'll look to see if i noticed, silly bunny. :lol:

Yea, it really is the funniest thing. Especially when she gives me that "don't you dare laugh at me" look.
