Benny LOVES paper towel rolls, when i put them in they are gone within a day or two, but i dont find shavings or lil pieces of it so i am assuming that he is eating it, is this ok?

I'd like to know the answer to this question too! My Kirby is currently chewing up and swallowing a paper towel roll as we speak...:expressionless

Kirby eats any and all cardboard items I give him. It is the only type of toy he is really interested in. Everything else he will just toss out of his way :grumpy:But I supervise and take it away before I turn in for the night otherwise he'll have a belly full of cardboard.

search no farther,,here is the answer,,,what goes in must go all the way through,,rabbits may cough, but lack the muscles to throw up,,there-fore we need to increase water intake and fiber(70%),ie.timothy/orchard grasses,,.rabbits are consumate groomers, chewers,,try branchs/twigs off/from a fruit tree,,paper isnot bad it is fiber,,generally cardboard/ boxes, paperbags, are toys,,might just need more fiber in the diet,,grasses are better,,try some dandylions, clovers grasses/don,t cost anything--perhaps wash first before feeding,.//.feel their little bellies, put them up to your ear and listen for any violent sounds,,feel for any hardness,,work their gi tract from the stomach to the pooper,,well it is 105* now i gotta go make my rounds,,,sincerely james waller
