Ok so im new here with bunnies. I always had dogs and you know when they are happy. My bunnies routine is she come ot of her cage in the morning and goes under the tv. Then mid day back to her cage and in and out of her hideout house and over to litter box to eat. She has no interest in the toys I give her. Toliet paper roll. Hay in a egg carton. grass balls. She will go in the tunnel I gave her but I swear its because its another hideout thingy!! I do she her run in and out of the boxes I made her but its pretty much every few days she does this. She is eating and drinking fine. We are in the playroom with her on and off all day. Do you think she is depressed or just a layed back bunny. Remind you she has only been home 2 weeks. It just seems like everyones bunnies seem so active on here. Thanks Mindy

Some of ours really get into everything and others are four legged couch potatoes, each being different. All of ours like to go into and under things--just a bunnies nature. Sounds like a normal bunny. Just spend time and try to engage her interest. Good luck.

She sounds pretty normal to me. Since she's new to you, she may still be getting a feel for how things go. Once she knows no one is going to try to eat her and gets used to her schedule, she may become a little more adventurous. Just make sure she does always have somewhere where she can hide out; it makes them feel more secure.

I just got a rabbit also. When I first got him, he seemed really interested in hiding. He particularity loves behind the couch in my room. He also hated the toys except for the large box. I thought he was sick or depressed, but he was eating and pooping normally, so I just assumed he was confused he was in a new environment. He has his routine now, he hides/naps during the day and at about 10 pm-2 am he turns into a crazy bunny, running and jumping everywhere. He is now comfortable enough with me to jump on my bed and lounge there while I'm on it. I think it just took time. He now knows I am the one who feeds him and pets him, so he likes me:D

ha ha he sounds like my bunny. Around 10 pm - 2 she runs around like a crazy girl the room is a mess when I wake up in the morning. She is getting a little better comming to me an sniffing me. But she still hate to be touched,+

She sounds like she is just adjusting. Benjamin spends alot of time under the steps in his yard or behind his chair in the family room. That is just where he wants to be, and must feel the safest there. Sounds like a pretty normal rabbit. Benjamin hates toys too, like to get into things that are not his.lol. He once chewed my new leather chair. Needless to say it now has a cover on it and the couch has a blanket and pillows when I go out. His idea of playing is also at night but that is when we watch TV together. Most of the time he is just a big laid out bunny.
