I have been trying for quite some time to locate an Irish bunny recue home or anything of that sort but came up with nothing, The ISPCA (Irish Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) only seems to deal with cats and dogs and I can't find any information on rabbits. There must be abandoned rabbits here to.
How does one go about setting up a shelter with limited finances. Are there certain organisations to approach that might be willing to sponser as I believe the adoptive fee only covers a fraction of the costs involved.
Since my housing situation isn't definate yet I couldn't make a commitment at the moment but I would be interested as a future project. How did you guys set about opening a shelter? Maybe there are even some Irish members that could give me some advice. Sabine
