Can I introduce all four of my rabbits together at the same time, or is it better to start with two, if they do well add a third and if that goes well add the fourth? They're all spayed or neutered. The girls have been spayed for several months, and the boys were neutered about 3 weeks ago.

Wow - a quad? How exciting! Unfortunately, I had my hands full and my mind in knots with just a regular bonded pair, so I don't have much experience to share with you... but...

Are all 4 of them singles right now? I would think it's best to introduce 2 of them at a time just to see which buns get along with whom, so you know what you're getting into. But... the only person I know who has a 4 bun party going on is Ali (JadeIcing)!

Pssst... Ali?

So I intro'd Johnnie and Pandora. It went well for several minutes, then they got into a small fight. They stopped when I squirted them though. No injuries, thank God, but Johnnie seemed really dazed afterwards. I held her for about 5 minutes to make sure she was ok. At that point I decided to add Albus to the mix, because I read somewhere on rabbit.org sometimes if the buns aren't really totally thrilled with the idea of each other, you can try adding a third bun who is more laid back and the first two may, for whatever reason, get along. It didn't work exactly as planned, but still had the same effect. Albus is neutered, but he still kept trying to mount the girls, so they huddled together in a corner far, far away from him. I think he's going to be the dominant one and they will be his subjects. They just ran away when he tried to "say hi". That's surprising that he's dominant like that. He's always so laid back with me. All in all, that went well. Emmett is NOT ready for a friend. He still gets WAY too excited around other buns, even though he's neutered as well.

Oh, I might as well add that I got my first bunny last August. She passed away unexpectedly (the vet thinks she had an asthma attack while we were at work), and I've gotten four more since then. So, within a 9 month period, roughly, I've gotten a total of 5 buns lol.

Oh, the rabbit.org website said 2 weeks. So I should do 6 months, even on the baby who was just old enough to get neutered (though had already dropped)? Pandora and Johnnie are bonded as far as they are neighbors. They lay next to each other and run back and forth together in their cages, but in seperate cages, if that makes sense. However, as I said, during intros, they got into a scuff, but not a bad one.
