Pleased to make your acquaintance - this is my first time reaching out to a rabbit community and, honestly, I am a bit nervous. I've spent a lot more time with dogs and dog people, so I'm used to talking like them. Not that it should be much different, but I know rabbits are completely different creatures.
My baby girl, Lupin, is now approximately eight years old and entering her golden years. Despite her progressively graying coat and increased napping, she's as outrageous and energetic as ever. I've had her since she was a young one, so small she could fit in my 12 year old hand, and I love her dearly. Early on her care fell mostly to me, as other people in the house started to forget her in favour of the new dog. To make up for that, I'm trying to give her the best golden years I possibly can, and I'm hoping to get some suggestions on some things I can do for her.
She does get free run of my room at least twice every week (with all the wires covered up and hidden, of course!) fresh greens every night before bed and a constant supply of fresh timothy hay. She's a good healthy weight, and always lets me know when it's time for some lovins; even to the point of jumping on my keyboard while I'm working!
And without further ado, here's the lovely lady of the hour;
She's acting shy for the camera. What a fooler.
TL;DR - Hi, my name is Marina, and that up there is my baby girl Lupin, for whom my screen name is...well, named.
