I love my sweet little guy. I found my lop ear at a gagarge sale last spring. I couldn't resist. I am a animal lover and couldnot let the sweet little:D thing go to the pound. So my little lop ear came to live in our living room. He is very tolerable of our kids and all the other curious animals we have in our home. All the animals we have seem to get along. He lives in his cage in the living room, but spends most of his days hopping through out the house checking on everyone. He especially loves my sons room. He hangs out in there when my son is playing, just watching him. He is very cuddley, but perfers not to be picked up. In the summer while I would do yard work he would follow me out to the yard and find a nice shadey spot under our tree to hang out and watch me. He is a great addition to our little petting zoo of a house we have here. We all love him very much.

Hello and welcome to the forum. Your bunny is so lucky you picked him up from a yard sale. Sounds like he is a spoiled bunny with a great life.

My rabbits also don't like to be picked up. But like yours, still loves to be around people and my other animals.

Thanks for asking. Haas seems to be ok. He really does not like the med. they gave me to give him. It is actually an injectable that I have to give him orally. So I reward him with a baby carrot when he is done taking his med. But we let him out of the cage yesterday and he seemed to actually be hopping alittle better. He is drinking today and he ate his pellets last night because when I got up this morning they were allmost gone. So that is all good. Right? I looked a bunch of stuff up online about his sx and scared the crap out of myself. So I am just going to go with what the vet said and stop looking so much up online. She said as long as he is eating and drinking he is feeling better. If he stops eating and drinking to call her and he may need to come back in. I think he is doing better then he was over thanksgiving. I really hope he ends up ok. He is just so sweet and doesnt hurt anyone. He just likes to be around and he's happy with that. If you have any advice on how else I could help him I would love it. Again thanks for asking!!

Let me welcome you to Rabbits Online, my name is Dave and I am a moderator on the forum. So if I can be of any help please let me know. This is a terrific website for rabbits and their slaves, not only is it very active but also friendly. I am so glad you’re here and I know you will enjoy it.

Sounds like he keeps a close eye on his slaves.

Many bunny's recommend their slaves to this site so we may learn of others methods to keeping our furry masters happy.

If you everhave a sick bunny, please post in The Infirmary and include your rabbit's age, breed and health history as well diet and output details leading up to the problem.

I have listed some links I thought you might find interesting:

*For reference the Library section

*To brag or tell everyone about the antics of your bunny or just to talk about your day here is where to start a Bunny Blog, you can also look back at it later and remember when you had a life before your bunny.

*Now all the bunny’s like talk to each other when we mere slaves aren’t around in the Bunny Chat is the spot to be.

*Rabbits Online also has regional forums , this a good way to find a vet in your area that has experience with rabbits and to find out from other nearby of good sources of rabbit supplies.

The Let Your Hare Down section is for anything non-bunny related.

Here is a link tothat will help you and your bunny to connect, How To Bond With Your Bunny.

Now every forum has rules and ours can be found with this link Rabbits Online Forum Rules. This gives guidelines on what is acceptable, what is not and how we hope everyone will treat each other.

Everyone on this forum loves to see pictures of each other’s bunnies. So if you would like to post a picture this link will help you do that, Upload Photo's to Photo Gallery. Then in the post, you click on the "G" in the tool bar to insert your photo. Many people also use Photobucket. You just copy the img file and paste it into the post.

I am glad you have joined rabbits online and I look forward to seeing you around.
