Hi everyone,
My name's Nellie, I'm 22, and just adopted a rabbit that I've named Hlao (after a rabbit's nickname in the book Watership Down... "Hlao-Roo" to be more precise ).
I also have 2 dogs, 2 cats, and 4 rats that I love dearly-animals have always been my passion. I've done alot of work with dogs- rescue/foster work, training, grooming, and I own my own pet sitting service. I love to connect with other people that love animals like I do, and I look forward to getting to know everyone here :bunny17:
Here's me with one of my dogs, Mondo, checking out Hlao (no worries- he's very easy going- that night he laid on his bed while Hlao hopped all around him)
I've had a house rabbit in the past that I adopted when she was an adult. My situation with having a baby bunny who is a bit shy is very different from having my confident, sassy lop girl- though it has still been very rewarding (I see him trusting me more and more as time goes by ). Since it's been a while since having a rabbit in my life, and even though I've been re-researching rabbit things online, I still look forward to learning even more from you all who have more experience!
