Well, hi there everyone! I'm so excited to have found this site and registered. I've been looking for an active rabbit forum for a while and have been disappointed until now. That being said, here we are! Yay!

My name is Lexi and I'm 24-years old. I live in wonderful [ahem] Cleveland, Ohio with my little zoo. Oh, and my roommate too - LOL! But all that's neither here nor there. Let me get to what's important: my bunnies!

William is a 15-month old mini rex. He came to me via Craig's List. He was so adorable and it broke my heart that he was not being properly cared for. He's been with me for about 3-months now and has just brightened my world. So much in fact that I've just adopted another bunny this past weekend! But more on him later...right now I need to show y'all a picture of my William.

Okay, now to my newest addition: Einstein. He came to me just yesterday, once again, via Craig's List. He was purchased by his original owner from a breeder in my state and was then kept in a garbage can with only a dish of water and some hay. He's a young boy and only 3-months old, so he's my baby. And a very spoiled little baby he'll be as he's already set up in his new C&C cage with toys, water, food, hay, and everything else he could ever possibly need. He's a purebred lionhead [with pedigree] but what matters to me is that he's healthy and happy. And, you can see that he's already acclamating himself to his new home in the picture. Ha ha...and now don't you see why we named him Einstein?! Look at that hair!

Me and my two little boys are thrilled to be here and we look forward to getting to know everyone better. Thanks for being here and you'll definitely hear from me [William and baby Einstein] in the future!

What beautiful boys! They looks so soft and floofy and sweet. I'm glad you adopted them. It seems strange how one person can not care for the bunny that they purchased (especially Einstein, they must have only had him for a month before losing interest!), but another person can see how wonderful that bun is and give it all the lovings and the life it deserves. My bun Rory was dumped at the shelter and I've had him for 3 weeks. I pretty much think he's the cutest thing ever and thoroughly enjoy spoiling him, he seems to like being here too (except for the neutering part).

I'm glad you joined the forum and can't wait to hear (and see!) more about William and Einstein! Great names BTW. William looks kinda like my Rory (see avatar)! You should start a bunny blog for them!

Ack! Sooo cute! I adore mini rexes. And Einstein is so cute with his poofy hairdo!

So, super-short fur and long fur, when will you be getting a normal furred bun? We can transport rescue buns to you... Did I mention I'm evil about that?;)

Welcome to the forum!

Oh dear, please no evil bunny transporters! My roommate [who is really like a mother to me] will have my head! And as much as I'd love to add another bunny [or 100] to my fur-family, it's just not feasible. I've got a full house already and believe me when I tell you that I'm already stretched thin.

Between my roommate and myself we have two dogs [a black lab x pointer and a toy fox terrier], 3 cats, 3 Syrian hamsters, 4 guinea pigs [with one sow pregnant], and my 2 bunnies. See? I'm not joking when I say we're filled to maximum capacity!

I love my little guys and wouldn't trade them for the world. And thanks for letting me know how adorable they really are! Shh...but sometimes I think I'm a little biased. He he!

I'm so happy to be a new member of this forum. I've been reading through a lot of the posts and I've gained such valuable information already. I can't even begin to imagine how much I can learn if I stick around a while [which, of course, I totally plan on doing]! Thanks for the warm welcome. Me and my buns are feelin' the love!

Ooo, someone from Cleveland!! We were looking to transport some bunnies through there this past weekend! ;)

Your buns are adorable! I'm also a Mini Rex fan... my husband and I adopted two furbrats of that breed! :biggrin2:

Welcome!

Hi there and welcome to RO! Your babies are adorable! I have lionhead myself and they are just the best.

I cant wait to see more pics!

OMG what a great name for Einstein! LOL! He's really cute.

and William.... you have another mini-rex fan here. I really adore them. I love all bunnies but since Bo was my first - I have a fondness of the little soft mini-rex - I could hold and pet them all day~!

Errrm...... not to be like rude but...... What happened to "no more bunners" LOL!

Welcome to the forum Lexi!! you little bunnies are ADORABLE!
why would any do that to a bunny, in a garbage can??

Einstein's fur is like a bif fluff ball!

Very similar!

OMG! That is too great! I didn't even bother to look up Einstein's namesake and take a look at how similar they really are. That's hysterical and I seriously am laughing so hard that my eyes are beginning to tear up!

Poor baby Einstein...

Hi! Welcome to the forum!

Your boys are adorable. I love Einstein's great hair. hehehe

We've got a mini-rex too, named Captain Snow. Our other 3 are Holland Lops.

Oh...and I see in another thread that you might adopt Amy's 2 sweeties. That'd be awesome if it worked out. I know she'd be so relieved to have someone on the forum have them.

Well, welcome again.
