I think we got it fixed *knock on wood*
We have two routers, a gaming one for my bf's stupid xbox and a wireless one. I think his gaming one keeps messing things up *sigh*

Haley, do you know why the router for the gaming would be messing with your connection? We have one as well that hubby uses for his playstation. It never messes up, if it does, we turn it off and back on and it's usually fine. Maybe yours is getting ready to go out perhaps? Just a thought.
I would think the wireless one should keep you guys up and running, hmmm.

Well, the modem is connected to his gaming router and then that connectsto the wireless one. The gaming one is some high tech router that assigns different IP addresses for each slot so it doesnt slow down his connection. Theres something wrong with the WAN IP address that is coming out of his gaming router, thus messing up the wireless connection. It says I have a connection but since the IP address is wrong I cant actually connect.
It doesnt help that our comcast modem keeps going out as well. Everytime we think we have it fixed the internet goes out again.
I cant really use a hard line from the modem because its all the way down in our basement and all my stuff is upstairs. Luckily I live in a condo park so I can sometimes (like right now) connect to other unsecured wireless networks, but I dont like doing this if possible.
Cant wait until this is fixed!
