I can't sleep. :grumpy:

I ate dinner around 7:00pm, and I had a Coke. BIG MISTAKE! Medium-sized-Coke + ADHD = twitchy, unable to sleep, crabby Spooky (Me! That's my highschool nickname).

So, here I sit... er... lay, pondering what I can do to irritate Will while he sleeps. Just clicking on the keyboard at 11:37pm isn't enough. I have a feeling this is going to be a long night. Ugh.

Hehe, I just heard our upstairs neighbor's smoke alarm going off. They're (video) gamers, so they are up at ungodly hours anyways. It's so much better with them just walking around and burning things up there. It always seemed like our old upstairs neighbors would feel they had to be "intimate" whenever I couldn't sleep. We hated them. When they walked around, they sounded like rhinoceri. Yeah...

My room seems very loud tonight, too. I can hear two hamster wheels'a'spinning, the water bubbling through the fish tank filter, and Will's nose whistling. I am contemplating whether or not to poke him. Nah, I'll listen to his nose symphony a while longer.

Yeah, this was just a place for me to ramble on. Yup... I think I am going to pop some Tylenol PM and sleep. I just have to make sure I do the sleeping part. Last time I took Tylenol PM and "forgot" to sleep, I wound up bidding on a bunch of stuff on eBay. I didn't realize this until the next morning. Go me.

Goodnight, all!

EDIT: Haha! I'm a moron! Could someone move this to "let your hare down"?

:bow Thanks!

Wow, what a night! lol :biggrin2:

I hope your getting a lot of these -->

I:hearts infomercials!

I like the OxyClean guy. He just makes me feel more awake when I watch him. Same with Tony Little (the gazelle-exercise machine dude with the weird hair).

I can relate to insomnia.....In the past few months, I get really sleepy after I eat dinner. I mean, so sleepy I can't not sleep. When it started, sometime in August, I'd sleep for 30 or 45 minutes, or so, and then be able to get to sleep around 11 or 12. (I get up at 6:20 during the week.) Just this past week, it's gotten worse. Once, I slept for 3 hours, got up at 10, and couldn't sleep much that night. Then, on Friday night, I napped for *4* hours. Ugh. It was 3 or so before I could sleep again. I tried having my husband wake me up after an hour, but I will be so groggy, I can't actually get up, and just fall asleep again.

It's a little scary, when I can't wake up, and annoying when I can't get to sleep again later. It usually happens once or twice a week, immediately after eating dinner.

I mostly avoid caffeine.

I get "seasonal insomnia" as I like to call it. I get it mostly in Summer (beginning). I also get it towards the beginning of Winter. It's like I am restless.

Will has yelled at me before for doing dishes at 2:00AM and making a racket lol

Ugh. I can't sleep again. It's only 8:48PM, but I wake up around 6:00AM, so I'm tired. Will is happily snoring in bed next to me, and I am typing away. I can hear my roommate talking to his boyfriend on the phone in the other room. I don't understand how he doesn't get how LOUD his voice is, and how THIN our walls are. It's really irritating. That, and, the gamer-boys upstairs are stomping around for whatever reason. They are normally fairly quiet, but tonight they are annoying me (because I'm tired? who knows...) Bah!

I get up for work at 6:20, and usually can't get to sleep until 11 12 or so. Tonight Jason has to get up at 3am to do some remote access thing for work. I am not looking forward to that, I wake up easily. He's tried to get up before me a few times in the past, but I wake up as soon as the alarm goes off and usually can't get back to sleep. (I normally get up first, with the alarm, get dressed, feed the bunnies, have a cup of coffee, make my lunch, then go wake him up because he sleeps through all that.) So I'm going to be exhausted tomorrow. :(
He just got a raise at work, but I think *I* should have gotten it, if I'm gonna have to put up with things like this. He did offer to sleep on the couch tonight, but it will just scare the bunnies when his alarm goes off, and I really don't want frightened bunnies.

I don't understand why I can't get to sleep earlier. Many days I get really really sleepy in the late afternoon. (Yesterday I fell asleep in the car on the way home from work, luckily I wasn't driving!) Even if I manage to stay awake and not nap when I get so sleepy, I have trouble sleeping at night. And I've never been able to just fall asleep right away when I get in bed, it has *always* taken me a long time of laying there before I fall asleep.

I had to mess with my medication a little bit to get it to where I can fall asleep when I want to. I have ADHD, and I take generic Aderol (however you spell it!) it makes me focus, but it also makes me more alert when I don't want to be. I have to take it at 6:00AM and somewhere between 12:00PM and 2:00PM in order to be able to sleep at night. I get super-sleepy around 2:00PM, which is when most people hit a lull in their "awakeness" during the day :p

I don't ever have anything to do during the day, but I tend to wake up not too long after Will leaves for work at 5:45AM. For awhile, Toby would harass me in the mornings to feed him, and he started peeing on the bed. Now, I just wake up early so I don't have to deal with it. He's fed, he's happy, he'll pee elsewhere. I'm one of those people that once I'm up, I can't fall back asleep without the assistance of a rubber mallet to the head.
