Hello, I just joined this site yesterday since I found a rabbit outside my house. It was hopping through my garden, and to make a long story short, I took it in my home and found out it was injured. I'm not sure if it's going to be okay ... it has a red lump on the lower right side of its stomach. I took a picture in hopes of finding out what it is. What do I do? Can anyone tell me what this is?

It's very hard to tell with the pic, it's very blurry and grainy so it's hard to see... I would honestly say a vet trip is in order, it could be a few things.

Could be an abcess but its very hard to tell. I would agree with Amanda and take it to a vet or a rescue. Is it a tame bunny? If you have no interest in keeping him/her then most rescues will take it and get it the vet care he/she needs. Good luck.

The picture is blurry since it was taken with my phone camera, but thanks for the information anyway! Well the rabbit isn't so tame since it kicks and bites when it's picked up, but it likes to be petted on the head.

Where can I find an animal rescue that will get the rabbit the help it needs? I've been looking for vets nearby but they only service dogs and cats.

The rabbit sounds fairly tame. Most bunnies don't like being picked up. LA animal services will take the bunny. They have shelters all over LA county. Here is the number 1888-452-7381 you can call them and find the shelter closest to you.

Most bunnies will kick and bite when picked up.

I'd start with Bunny Luv and call around, see if anyone can take him. Good luck!
