There is great info at the American Dutch Rabbit Club Website... www.dutchrabbit.com

Feel free to ask questions, there are a few breeders on here that raise Dutch.

Good luck with your Dutch, they are a wonderful breed to raise and show.

I don't have a lot of info for you Sharon ( starlight) is great though :D

I just wanted to wish you the bestshowing them I introduced my niece to showing and she has done a lot of winning made some new friends and loves going to the shows :D

Honestly if your aunt gave you the rabbits she would be the person to talk to about them. I mean she can phsyically show you every detail and its easier then any of us explaining. The biggest issue with showing dutch, are their markings. Most of the points, out of 100 will go to their coat.

And if you are keeping them like you are in your picture, please remove the buck.

I Love showing my dutchies, Sharon's got one GORGEOUS steel doe that I saw at the September Cobleskill, NY show.
When it comes to breeding I found more mismarked parents tended to throw better looking offspring than my better looking parents. Hence half my torts are all brood stock, the other half are the show buns. I love the Tort, Blue and Steel colored babies.
Enjoy the dutch bunnies. They're so smart and my does are more so friendlier than my bucks, but the buck's aren't necessarily unfriendly. My bucks have lived side by side and never sprayed each other.

I have all my bun's indoor's until spring. Well our blue buck is more friendly then the bigger doe.. When i feed her today she was bitting my shirt
