Indie was a baby born in the rescue back on the4th ofJuly in '06. He was adopted out with his mom. For somereason he started getting real aggressive. The family tried workingwith him but their young children were starting to fear the bunnies.

His mom is just fine. His sibling have shown no aggression in their new homes. Just him.

Now since he has been here he has not let us near him. Though he willnibble on crasins that I am holding. We did have to catch him after hejumped out the pen. We almost caught him a few times but he wouldexcape! Never once did he try to bite us. Nor box us. Nothing.

He is so cute! I am so going to have a hard time letting this one go.He is about Connor size but rounder. By size I mean height. He has grayon his nose, ears, top of his tail, and top of his feet. He has brightred eyes.

Well here he is Indie!

He looks beautiful. Is he some sort of grey himalayan? Is he moulting or does he always have those cute patterns on his ears?

He sounds like a right character, hopefully you can work wonders withhim :) Maybe an experienced home is what he needs at the moment.

It wonderful what you do :)

Well I don't know what he is, or if that is hisset pattern. He doesn't look to be moulting. His fur is kind of rough. Not soft like my guys.

Thanks I love fostering. Makes me feel really good to be doing it. Ithink I suprised everyone by being able to let them go. That comes withyears of practice. My grandma was a foster parent for 16 years and Igot used to kids I came to love with my whole heart leaving. :?

It will be interesting to see what happens with his coat, it's really beautiful markings, very different :)

I contemplated fostering too, and I also thought the hard bit would beletting them go, but I thought that if I kenw they would only be atemporary pet, it might be easier, but so far I have not got anyfurther with it lol.

Those rabbits are lucky to have you :)

Thank you so much. I look at is as I am caring for them till they find that special place that is just their own.

From the sounds of it they are not allowed to touch them unless thier parents are right there and his mom is just fine.

Wow...ya know (and I hate to bring up a sore subject), he really reminds me of Thumper the blind bunny...

What a handsome guy!! I'm so glad he gets time with you...anybunny that does is so blessed!! :D

Hugs for you both!!

I put the tip of my finger near the cage and he lunged:shock:. I may lose a finger!:D

Well he has been here 3 days and I have beenable to touch him one time! :shock:He has growled andlunged. I like him!

His aggression is more with what he deems hisand change. He doesn't mind me going into his area just touching hisstuff. He sniffs me alot but doesn't try to bite me.

I got him to eat a treat from my fingers. He than proceededto go sit in the corner and give me the butt. :disgust:

I tried straighting his blankey by pulling it from the outside (he haddragged it in.) He started growling (dead serious) and lunging. Istopped and he stopped than just sat there looking at him.

I have been laying next to his cage the last few days and just beingthere. Letting him get used to me. The first day I turn and look athim. I ALMOST HAD A HEART ATTACK. He wassitting there glaringatme faced pressed against the pen walls.

Indie is doing alot better!

Today he let me pick him up with out a fight for the first time.

You do such a great job with those foster buns! If he was sitting in a shelter, I seriously doubt he would ever get enough attention to learn humans aren't that bad.

Indie is now running over and standing when I call him. He will let me pet his head slightly. He is ok for the most part. Still alittle grunty and lunges from time to time. Never hurts anyone.

OMGosh he is so cute, I think Himi's are adoreable. I would have named him Buttons due to his cute button nose.

Bless your heart trying to work with him. It is a shame when kids get scared when they see him doing those things.

Looks like Indie will be moving to the next foster home for his next steps to finding a home. I did what I set out to do and that is what matters.

I will miss my boy. I feel like I am losing Samantha all over again.
