increased appitite

I've noticed lately that my5rabbitsare eating alot more than normal. I free feed thempellets and hay. normally the feeders when full last a week but thelast week or so i've been having to fill them every few days. their hayconsumtion also seems to have doubled. Is this their way of gettingready for the winter?? They live in a unheated shed outside so I mthinking maybe they are building up fat for the winter. Any thoughtsout there?

Since it's already cold outside, they're mostlikely eating more because they need more energy to keep themselveswarm. I'm not sure if they try to "store up" for thewinter. I haven't heard of it, although it's not impossible.
