Increase in poop and pee

Over the last day or so I have noticed Felipe's poops have probably doubled in size and increased in number. He also seems to be peeing more than normal (he isn't a big pee-er generally). His diet has remained the same (unlimited timothy hay and water, 1/4 cup pellets, about 1 cup chopped veggies like lettuce, celery etc. with some carrots/green peppers). He has been eating fine and acting normal. Is this something to be worried about? He is a six or seven months old Netherland dwarf mix. He weighs 2 pounds and is not neutered.

If the poops are firm and normal looking then at first glance I would say no problem . many buns get very territorial at puberty and make a mess marking and spraying with pee and poop. but could please give us more info

i like to think-input equals output,--the diet tells me you are very rabbit smart,,-you might use a stethoscope to monitor heart,,stomach,and gitract.//.-keep an eye on behavior patterns,,activities,,energy...i hope this helps--i wish they knew how much we stress out....sincerely james waller:big wink:

Sounds like a good thing! You want the poops and pee, just not sludgy, white pee. You can read about this in our Library. But, sounds good, esp, if bunny is eating well and eliminating well.

Whew! Thanks everyone! I am new to rabbits but have been trying to learn all I can...The increase really threw me off! I'm glad to hear it is most likely a good thing.
