Alas! The July Schedule
Its monday, mum and I are having a small get-together withall the bridesmaids so we can make favors for the wedding and the bridal shower. My wedding and shower colors are red, black,and white. har har. Its so JAK Rabbitry. So we got red, black, and white tea-lite candles and put them in a little glass holder thingy and wrapped them withred or black fine mesh stuff and tired it witha red or blackbow whichalso has a little lable thingy saying the wedding date and junk. It was a cute idea.
She also found these glass roses at dollar tree she's goign to use. I think they're kind of boring butyeah whatever, they're pretty.
I think it's funny that Dollar Tree has prettier garter belts and ring pillows than David's bridal. I just saved like $70. Go Jesse.
I got one of those kits to decorate your car with the puff balls and the JUST MARRIED sign and my husky ate it. *sigh*
So the 14th is my shower. Mum wants me to get a new dress for the occasion. I do own a few dresses, most of them make me look kind of morbid though, but I have a nice brown and grey dress which makes me look like a peasant that I really like and mum says I need a new dress. wtf. I'm not much of a dress person. Isn't it enough Ihave the big white one?
Does anyone know any good bridals hower games? My mum had this game at her baby shower....everyone got a clothes pin with a pink (um had a girl) ribbon on them and during the shower if anyonesaid ''baby'' you had to be all like '' HA! YOU SAID BAYBAY!!!" And you take their pin. Whoever had the most pins at the end of the shower got a door prize. I thought about just changeing the word to ''Jesse and Erron'' or ''Wedding'' or all three....make it challenging....
My friend Gailalso suggested agame in whih when you're opening presents, you set a kitchen timer to a random place and when it goes off, whoever's present you're opening gets a prize. I liked this one because it requires absolutely no IQ.
Also while i'm doing the bridal shower thing,. Erron's gonna have a mini LAN party with Matt and Max. So when they show up at the end to pack presents, I thought another cool game is to split up into groups and dress the boysup in toilet paper and see who can make the best wedding dress.
Mum and Gail also liked the ''how well do you know the bride'' trivia thing, I thought about incorperating it into a BINGO square, like put the answers down in the squares and read the questions. I dunno.
Then the 20th i'm leaving for San Diego, Erron's friends are having a bachelor party for him, I'll stay with a frind out there while he's doing....whatever. If yhou knew how shyof aguy Erron is, you'd laugh at the idea ofhis best man hiring strippers. Although since Erron comes from a large group of nerdy friends, I kinda just find it comical. I told Eugene (best man) he should hire strippers and then jsut play video games with them and tip them when they win. I told him they should have bunnies pop out of the cake.....he wasn't crazy about the idea.
During our time in SD We'll be driving up to Orange County to meet Tom, the founder of the game developing site of BYOND, of which Erron has been a member since he was like, 18. Tom is like his idol, and Tom actually said he'd love to meet up with Erron sometime, so that's what's up. Erron was like '' All this time he was right in Orange County!!! And I never knew!" so he's all excited.
Erron's former boss wants to have dinner with us while we're out there. Then we're coming back on that wednesday which I believe is the 24th? (I posted somewhere else about the rescue thing) And an hour after our flight comes in, Andrew and Eugene's flight comes in, and maybe another dude is coming too, then his family + another groomsman come in Thursday evening....and he even has 2 people flying in from Jordan (middle east). Argh it's gonna be crazy. So since everyone is coming out like, the daybefore the wedding, we have to have the rehearsal the daybefore the wedding. And then i'll be having a sleepover at mum's house. she's like ''you have to stay here you can't sleep with Erron!'' and I pointed at him and said '' haha you get to take care of all teh critters!!'' and he was like '' yeah what else is new....''
Then the 27this the wedding. And the next day taking everyone back to theairport.
