I bought a bloody corner computer desk (I have to rearrange the room Winston & Vega are going in) so I decided I would put it together to help Chris out.

Well I'm on the second last step to attach the bottom to the top. Well low and behold it doesn't fit together, I'm suppose to match up these darn holes where the screws go but they are over 1/2 inch off. So I thought I'd try to take one of the other rods off just to see if I could make it fit well oh no then 2 of the friggin fasteners (not sure if this is the right word) ripped out of the bottom. So now it's absolutely useless.

Well I just phoned the number that is on the instruction book (of course being Sunday they are closed) but I left a real dandy of a message. I told them to come and pick their piece of junk that they call a computer desktomorrow. I'll be darned if I'm going to take it apart and bring it back to Walmart. It took me over 5 hours to put it together.

I'm furious as I said on the message can you imagine if it fell apart while you computer was on it.

Thanks for listening I needed to get this off my chest.

Lol oh the love of Walmart furniture. Would not recommend them for ^those exact reasons.

Thanks I wish someone would have told me that before I put it together, LOL. Does anyone know where I can buy one here in Canada that's not overly too expensive.

Susan:p

I have a Walmart corner desk. It is a black one with silver metal stuff. It was cheap, of course....like $80. It works fine for us, but it is a little unstable.

I can't wait until we get out own place in February, so that we can buy bigger/more furniture.

You could just set the computer desk on fire, then sweep up the ashes and bring them to Walmart. What could be an easier way to dissasemble :p?

ActuallyI had a really good experience with the one piece of furniture I bought from there. I'm really sorry it didn't work out for you :(I bought a desk and had that problem too... had to make extra holes. I hope they treat you well when they return your phone call!
