I'm sick and achey right now :(

Thursday night I had a horrible headache at work. Friday I slept all day and then woke up to a stuffed up head and earache but I worked ayway.

Saturday I was so stiff and tired I could hardly function and so I slept from probably 11:00am until almost 3:00am Sunday morning.

I've been up a while now and am coughing so hard, my head feels like a lead balloon, all of my joints ache and my nose runs nonstop.

I'm going to take more medicine, drink some more water and crawl back in bed in my misery I suppose. I havent felt this bad in a LONG time and I think I'm turining into a big baby over it.

Let me think here: running all over creation with animals, flood waters, saving animals from flood waters, taking care of needy/saved animals, and at the end of flu season.....

Yep, I'm guessing you have the flu and need to stay in bed for a few days!

It's almost 3:30am on Monday morning. I *should* be at work right now but I'm not, I'm almost bent double as I cough and type.

My throat, chest and neck hurt. I think my neck hurts so bad from the lack of a good pillow and how much I've been sleeping.

I was up for a few hours at a time on Sunday but mainly slept the whole day/evening/night away.

When I called in sick to work I put a vacation day on hold for Monday night. I have no idea if I'll be going in to work then, even. At least, I think I called in but maybe it was a fever induced dream - I sure hope I wasn't a no-call no-show. I'd worry about that if I had the energy.

Whatever "bug" I have is really wiping me out.

I understand where you were at....I came down with that....3 weeks ago? I'd have to go look...and let me tell you- I was miserable. I still have a bit of the cough at times....

All I can tell you is that you WILL make it through this (even if you don't feel like it at the moment) and things will get better on the other side of this.

So hold on....stay warm....drink lots of chicken noodle soup....if someone offers to pamper you - take them up on it....and just know things WILL get better.

I promise....
