We went to see REM live last night! Second time this year!

We saw them at Cardiff International Arena, and we had 2nd row seats on the 1st balcony- SUCH great views!!!

They were absolutely brilliant live- we saw them at the Royal Albert Hall in London back in March, when they previewed their new album, and we saw them in Dublin last year when they rehearsed their new album but this was the first proper tour live gig that I've seen them do- WOW! :shock:

They played a load of old songs, that we didn't think they would, such as Sweetness Follows, Country Feedback, etc. Some of them are as old as me, even older!

We went with my parents (LOL) and they enjoyed it too, although my dad refused to sing or dance at all... :rollseyes

Also, another favourite band of mine, Editors supported them! How perfect!

Not Everybody Hurts though.... Apparently Michael Stipe has said that if he ever plays that live again it'll be too soon! :shock:

Seeing a picture of Princess Diana on the television while they played 'Everybody Hurts' at 4am because the newsreaders broke down in tears is one of my earliest memories.

I love losign my religion, but my favourite song would have to be Nightswimming.. or Electron Blue... or The Outsiders. I just can't decide... they're too amazing!

My favourite album of there's is Around the Sun.
