Im not doing to good...

It all started, Saturday.

Me, my mom, and her boyfriend went to Wal-Mart to get some stuff for the new house (I'll explain in a diffrent thread) and in the line, at the cash we were waiting. Once we were second I started feeling very dizzy. I grabbed a drink from the cooler and took one sip, Then passed out for a few minutes.

Once I woke up my moms boyfriend walked me to the car while my mom paid for the stuff. I was SOO out of it. He let go of my hand to open the door for me and I ended up walking into the back of the car. Supposidly once i hit the back of the car i said 'Oh my gosh im so sorry'. My mom's boyfriend turned around and asked me what happend and I said I walked into someone, He looked around and the only person around was a short old lady. His eyes got wide and hurried me into the car, when I acutally walked into the car, I have the bruise to prove it.

After that.. it took alot of convincing to get my mom to not drive me to Emergency.. We went to Kasey's instead

But that night, as soon as I woke up from the fall.. I was FREEZING. It was +30 outside.. and I was wearign a sweatshirt and shivering.. even out waitress thought I was crazy..

Yesterday my mom went with one of her friends out to coffee and I spent time watching Ellen re-runs with Sparky. Then I got up to get a snack and I was sick...

Right after that I felt dizzy again. I picked up my phone and called my mom. She came and braught me to the hospital's emergencie..

I spent 5 hours in emergencie WAITING . By 2 am i felt better so i was told 'theres nothing we can do now' so they made us leave. Can you belive that. -.-

I'm sorry to hear you feel so ill! That sounds really scary...

I hope it doesn't happen again, but if it does, really insist that the doctors do some more investigation for you

I'm sick too, although luckily not as scary as that!

yeah I have a fever, around 40 degrees.

Yes, I agree it sounds like you might have the flu. What did they do at the hospital to check you over? Did they run bloodwork or anything?

(btw, was that The General campus? I went to the emergency room there once after an episode similar to yours...there was only one other patient in the waiting room but I waited 5-1/2 hours to be seen.)

you probably should make a regular doctor appt. just to make sure that it's not something serious.

I would have to agree with Angie. I don't think passing out is a good thing at all. Usually things like passing out has to be something where you go to the emergency right away. That is not normal to lose consciousness. Especially in Canada where all this nasty stuff is happening with the Mapleleaf meat products, the recall and all the bacteria.

I would makean appointment with your Doctor right away and get somethings done like a CT scan and a MIR. And bloodwork. and Urine analysis. If your Mom won't take you find someone who will.

i would go to a regular family doctor and get checked. I was thinking with the passing out having some kind of sinus problems, infections, when my sinus are acting up i will get dizzy spells, be very light headed but i have never passed out from it.



Better to be safe then sorry, it could be something serious.

I actually went to Cheo.

and I went to my regualar doctors erlier, he said I have low blood pressure. witch is odd because my mom has high blood pressure. Anyways.. he cant give me meds, but he said when I feel dizzy, to eat salt. Better, Salt and Vinegar chips...

Get it checked. I am still kicking myself for passing out at work and than staying another 5 hours working.:?
