I'm going on University visits for the next few days. Tonight we are driving up to Sheffield, we're staying over and going to Sheffield Hallam University open day tomorrow. Then we're staying over that night and driving to Manchester to look at Manchester Metropolitan University, then we're driving home! We're leaving at 3 today. I'm excited but not looking forward to a 5 hour journey!

I should post in the Task Force Area but I won't waste another post, if anyone who is a Task Forcer can do my news on Thursday. I'll do today's in a minute....

Yes I'm doing my A2s at the mo.

I'm wanting to do an Art and Design Year Zero course. Its basically a 'starter' course. Its only a year long, but you learn all about every aspect of art and design, you spend a few weeks on photography, a few weeks on fine art, a few weeks on fashion etc. After that I will be offered an immediate place on any of the university's relevant art and design degrees. Its basically because I like a bit of everything and don't know what I want to do. I'd rather spend an extra year working out what I like than stepping into a degree and realising its not really for me. However I think I will probably go into either graphic design, photography or furniture design.

Yes... definately lol! We've driven past it on the way to Steve's mum's many times and I always have my nose pressed to the window staring at it! We finally went there on the way home last time and I wasn't disappointed! :biggrin2:

Ha ha, they used to do that in Lincoln too. You'll need to get used to it if you go up north.

Wow, well I have a few photos I'm just loading off my phone but they're all of architecture LOL!

Its weird that when I went up there I preferred Sheffield Uni from reading about it, but now I've been there I definitely want to go to Manchester Metropolitan! I love it! Its amazing, the course is brilliant. I HAVE TO GO THERE!
