OK, so everyone else is going off on their fancy holidays in the sunshine. Me and three friends are going to Bournemouth, which is approximately three hours away! Woop!

I hope hope hope it doesn't rain, as the house is 15 minutes from the quiet end of the beach. Bring on the Fish and Chips and ice creams!

I will post pictures if I get any good ones!

Tomorrow I have a 3 hour train journey with a change at Waterloo Int. Luckily I have a small suitcase and I've learnt to pack lightly. My best friend has already informed me he is bringing 4 pairs of sunglasses, 5 pairs of flip flops, 3 pairs of other shoes plus loads more. He is using the same suitcase he used when we went to Spain for 2 weeks!

So I will be back on either Thursday or Friday, we haven't decided yet.

LOL! I'm the same with shoes as well- take 3 pairs for an overnight stay.... more often than not when I go on holiday and take 10 pairs, I end up wearing the same 2 pairs the whole time lol!

Hope you have a great trip! I've never been to Bournemouth

Have fun!

I'M BACK!

Did you miss me?

Weather was pretty good. Monday, we were only there from midday, and it was cloudy with a few sunny bursts. Woke up Tuesday morning to pouring rain, but it cleared up by the afternoon to just warm and cloudy. My Dad has a rib (boat) so we went out on that, even though it was freezing and very rough, we were all tucked up in big waterproof gear. We sailed over to Swanage (typical touristy sea side town) and has fish and chips on the sea front. My Dad and my best friend were in dry suits so they anchored the boat out and swam to shore! My other friend had a small argument with a Dorset lad in the dougnut shop because she wanted to know whether the 'Dino's Doughnut Supreme with ice cream, chocolate sauce and mixed nuts' was worth £3, and wanted to know what kind of ice cream it was, where the nuts were from, was the chocolate sauce warm, and then dropped half of it on the floor.

Yesterday it was warmed although still cloudy, so we went to the beach and spent all day building a sand castle complete with moat and trench to the sea. We had to build a deep trench to the castle or else the sea people would be unable to reach the castle properly, as they are very small and can only survive above water for a short time. Then we got picked up by the boat on the beach and went doughnutting, which is where you sit in a giant doughnut and get pulled along by the boat, until you fly over a wave and get plunged into freezing cold sea. Very fun. Even though it was completely cloudy we still managed to get burnt!

Today was really warm and sunny! Went to beach, but thinking it was just 'British' sun didn't put any suncream on, so now I have a weird arrangement of tan lines.

And thats about it! Can't get photos now becacause my USB port literallyb exploded and I need to use my Mums computer.

Sounds like you had a good time! The giant sand castle for the 'sea people' sounds funny...
