I'm Finally Free

It gives me the greatest pleasure to tell everyone that my Lawsuit of over 2 years has finally settled. I now have cheque in hand and don't need to deal with Insurance Companies or Insurance Doctors ever again.

My life can now go on. Believe me the money couldn`t have come at a better time as Chris has not worked for a bit now due to his surgeries.

We even got an extra $1000.00, for some reason (my lawyer doesn`t know why) their accounting department gave me too much. And he was really nice and said he won't tell if I don tell. He said Chris and I should go on a trip. Does anyone want to Bunnysit for a week? LOL

I was in 2 car accidents within a month 2 summers ago both cars were totalled. Niether were my fault, 2 STUPID drivers who didn't look where they were going. One of the drivers was charged the other wasn't because it was a dumb cop who came to the scene. I ended up with a lower back injury, and a left knee injury.

I was in a car accident two weeks ago and just had my second surgery today. My right foot was fractured on both sides and I have a metal plate and 9 screws (thought it was 12 but saw an xray). I now have a nice frame under my foot and up the sides of my ankle with a halo which will be on for 2 months. Needless to say, I'm taking the same route you did.

That must be a relief it is over. Now you can move on with your life. But are you healed completely?

Stan unfortunately my back is still quite bad. I've totally given up on Physio, sorry but to me that's a complete waste of money.

So now I need to think of what type of work I can do part time. I do realize I'll probably never be able to work full time again and earning the money I was before the accident which was reaaly quite good in my oppinion. I'd probably would be making between $45,000 -$50,000 a year and I know I won't even come close to that.

But I'm so happy it's all over. I did find out that the one Insurance Companies had me followed while I was shopping at Wallymart. I never did see the tape. I only wanted to see it if it went to court which I'm really glad it didn't.
