Oh, they're wonderful. SweetPea's got a nice, soft coat of fur growing in (and in the process losing all the rough fur that she'd had), Flower's calmed down from her grumpiness with the new addition (SweetPea), Trixie's her big beautiful self, and Maisie is as sweet (and pushy) as ever.
Every day that passes gets me more and more excited for the lionheads' arrival. We're working on restarting our rental house search...and have a line in on a couple in horse territory here that might have good yards for bunny play (yeah...you know the REAL reason I want a house is for those buns...hehe!!).
Danny is getting more and more work in, which is obvious, given that the internet is back up. So, we're starting to do better financially.
We had SO MUCH FUN picking up a new bale of hay in the 4Runner. We'd always had to borrow our business partner, Ivan's, truck when we wanted one. So using our own vehicle this time was a thrill and a half!!
In thinking about bunny things, I've decided that I'd like to start doing more by way of rescues and such. I'm sending in my application for Bunderground here probably tomorrow, and am trying to figure out how to help buns in need get matched with potential human friends. I haven't quite figured out how to do as such, but I'm working on it (any ideas?). I've even started a logo...hehe!
One good thing that came out of all that free time: I got to read a rather large number of books. In fact, I even went and checked
Watership Down from the library. Oh, what a WONDERFUL book! I had such fun reading about those buns...and cried at the end, as any good bunny-lover would.
I'm now checking out various informational bunny books, too (they're waiting for me RIGHT NOW at the library, having had to order them from the bigger library in LA), so I'm excited about reading those, too.
That's about it from our neck of the woods!
How've YOU guys been?? Do tell!!
