Ok, before I say this, I just want to say that I PROMISE I'm not crazy! I don't have anger issues- I swear I've never ever done anything like this before, and I never will ever again LOL.

Ok, on Saturday, me and Steve had a row- nothing big and we were fine within the hour- we do tend to argue quite often because we're both quite stubborn, it's just how we are. Anyway, he stormed out the house and I was just SO mad and for some ridiculous reason I decided to hit the kitchen door with my hand, as hard as I could. Boy, oh BOY did that hurt!

This is what my wrist looked like on Sunday:

And this is what it looks like today:

:embarrassed::embarrassed::embarrassed:

Both me and Steve thought I'd broken my wrist because it was so swollen and I couldn't move it or my fingers properly on Sunday without crying out in pain, but I had it x-rayed and it was fine, just bad bruising. I can use my hand fine now as long as I don't lift anything heavy but it still hurts to touch or if I knock it.

So yeah.... I'm an idiot! But I'm an idiot who learnt a very important lesson- don't mess with doors!

Oh Jen! You poor thing! The things we do when we see red.. hehe! At least Steve wasn't at the receiving end of that, ouch! ;);)

Hope your hand heals quickly! Maybe Dotty will kiss it better?

Hehe... LOL you guys!

I would never ever ever hurt Steve... I've never hit anyone or anything in my entire life before, except a pillow maybe?! I promise I'm not a madwoman!

Dotty didn't care about my hand- she stomped on it trying to get to craisins last night.... Mean bunny! :p

Autumn, yes, I'm a Netherland Dwarf! Maybe that's where my temper came from? :biggrin2:

Awh lol, your a dork haha (in a good way :D) I think as you injure your self so often that we should create you an inflatable suit or something :p(this coming from the person who's on crutches as she fell down stairs :embarrassed:)

Oh know you poor thing, i have to admit i have done that too, i think there is something about a door that really hurts and injures and my little boys always run around and sometimes run into one and they cause the worst bruises, much worse than other falls etc. Wrists are really delicate too arent they xx Hope you feel better soon x

Awww Jen... We all have our moments, some have worse ones than others.. I am going to tell you an embarassing story to hopefully make you feel like less of an idiot and make me feel like...more of one. :? Kinda makes me wonder why I'm doing this. Lol.
Anyway I was young. I think I was 16 at the time. My boyfriend, at that moment, had been getting calls from another girl (or chick as I used to say then) while I was with him or when we were on the phone. One night I was talking to him on the phone and he got a 'beep'. He told me to hold on and clicked over to check his call waiting. He came back to me and said he'd call me back. I asked if anything was wrong and he said that 'SHE' was on the other line and was upset and needed to talk! I was furious but wanting to act nonchalant so I didn't seem childish and I said "Okay, call me back when you are done. Love you." Talk about childish- I didn't love him, I lusted after him but back then that was the same thing to me anyway.
Anyway he never called back. I stayed up more than half the night waiting for him to call and got NOTHING. I decided to go to his work and had to walk because I didn't have a car or a license at this point. All the while on the walk I was working myself into a frenzy. I reached his job (he worked at Kroger) and what is the first thing I see? I see HER, the other girl, outside wearing HIS school jacket (he played football). She had on a work apron. Apparently she now worked there too! I was livid now! She was heading back into the store when I was and I purposefully bumped her with my shoulder as I went in. I saw him right away and judging from the look on his face when he saw me he wasn't real excited about me being there. Of course it could have been the look on my face then too.
I stormed up to him and asked him what the he** she was doing wearing his jacket and when she started working there. He got a stuttering problem suddenly and said he had helped her get a job there and she was wearing his jacket because she was cold. Cold?? Cold would be in winter. Did I forget to mention it was summer at this time? So then I asked him the next obvious question- when exactly did she get his jacket? His answer- last night, She had come over when she was upset. She 'needed' to be near someone. so you can imagine what kind of mood I was in!
I proceeded to tell him that I wanted to break up and that he could keep his little skank (yeah, I actually called her that and worse). I have a bit of a fiery temper and especially as a teenager. I had made this huge scene at that moment and everyone was looking at me as I made my very GRAND departure. I stomped out and in my anger didn't notice the very large, very yellow WET FLOOR sign. Can you guess what happened next?
I hit that floor hard. I hit it soo hard that I bounced and when I bounced I also slid onto my back and across the floor! My now ex boyfriend came running to help me up but when he grabbed my hand he started laughing (just a little). Well I got even angrier as he was pulling me up and yanked my hand away. Guess what happened again? I hit the floor again- hard!
I got to my feet this time and hurried (carefully) to the door. I limped all the way home crying (after I got out of sight of course). The next morning I had a serious case of bruised bum, back and right leg.., What was worse though was my bruised ego. :p

LMAO!!!

At the time it was the end of the world for me but looking back now I can laugh. The goofy things we do as teenagers just for boys. Sheesh.. Lol.

Nice "battle scar", Jen! :)

At one point, Will was on a combo of medicine for his blood pressure that made him go nuts at the drop of a hat. We have two patched-up holes in the wall, and we've had to replace a door. He punched THROUGH the door, though (you know, those cheap, hollow wooden ones?). He's off those meds now, so his temper has chilled quite a bit.

:p

CKGS oh god i was cringing for you just reading it you are very brave to share that lol I think i might still be upset about it lol Not that i tend to hold grudges or anything xx

Next time, maybe you should just "thump" at him to show you're angry. Then, sit all hunched up and give him dirty looks from across the room. Hey, if it works for bunnies, why not us? lol

Don't forget to turn down that "I'm sorry" pineapple snack if you're really trying to let him know you're mad...

(Sorry, just woke up, so my brain is a little :panic:)
