Earlier I found something else in the book that didn't make sense in another crime story she wrote. I've marked the pages but will have to read over some of it again to make sure I didn't misread.



I'm pretty tired right now, but very unfortunantly the sentence above really struck me as ironic.
 
haha that's really funny.

Spelling mistakes in books really turn me off of them... I know sometimes they are missed, but it really bugs me.


 
There was a recent article in our local newspaper about a group of homeschoolers who dressed up as literary characters for a library party. The newspaper spelled the names of three of the well known historical characters wrong!

I send in a lot of scouting event pictures to our local paper and write my own cutlines to go with the photos. The newspaper emailed me yesterday asking if I'd be interested in a paid position as a local correspondent because I take nice photos and write well ;)

I'd love to do it if I had the time, but I just have too much going on at this point. :(
