Alicia wanted to see my hay racks, so I thought I would share them with every one :). I know someone on this forum shared this a while back, so that is where I got the idea from :D....

Each hay rack only cost me $1.99. They are THE BEST :). I fill it with hay and the hay in there lasts for Morgan and Brody....4 days. For Marlin....a week! It sure keeps the litter box cleaner, as well because there is no wet hay in there anymore. It also keeps down on the amount of wasted hay because of it getting peed on.

Where my hay racks are, I do not have a litter box near-by. The hay racks are on the rabbit's 2nd level and their potty boxes are on the 1st level. My guys are good about not peeing/pooping while eating, though....they have good litter box manners.

That will work great with my litter pan idea. :biggrin2:

My idea combines some things...

That's a really great idea! I wish mine would eat out of a hay rack... We put Barney and Snowy's in a small littertray, which works fine but they tip it out and it gets scattered EVERYWHERE! :(

If we use a hay rack they just leave the hay.... I might give them a go though...

You just get them at Ikea..hmm..

I've been thinking about trying a hay rack again. I hate how, with the all wire ones, that the hay comes out the back though. I'd have to try to find something to cover the back of it so the hay can't fall out onto the floor.

You can maybe use cardboard or a thin peice of wood, to keep the hay from falling out of the back :).

If only I had seen these 5 hours earlier today! I was just at Ikea!!! ah well, my current hay rack (a bent NIC panel) works pretty well also, but i just like to buy things at Ikea. hahah.
