Peaches and Popcorn are both fixed males. Peaches is not licky and will lay his head down to get pets. Popcorn is newly fixed and does the same. I want to bond them once Popcorn's hormones die down. Popcorn is pretty fiesty, he tries to "get at" Peaches through the grids (which are far enough apart not to touch). I'm hoping this behaviour will die when he's all out of testosterone. However, if neither are licky and both want to be groomed or pet, will they have problems bonding? If they lie down for pets, I assume that they're both dominant. I know that behaviour with humans is different than behaviour with other bunnies.

Could this be a problem when bonding them?

Also, when bonding, how will I know if they're "unbondable"?

Their behavior with humans has little bearing on their behavior with other rabbits. Hannah has never licked us, but grooms Otto all the time. Not all bunnies are very good at grooming others, but eventually almost all do it at least a little.
