I work at a petstore near our home and they have many different rabbits,I know about almost every one,but anyways I've been sent on a mission....:colors:

To learn every single thing about most rabbit breeds.:bunnydance::bunnydance:

so if anyone has any info,It would be most helpful.:)

Well you certainly have a colossal task ahead of you! There are 47 different breeds accepted by the American Rabbit Breeders Association. The characteristics of each breed are listed in the Standard of Perfection, available from ARBA for $15. There are also a number of breeds that are not accepted by the ARBA.

I've studied rabbit breeds for many years and am a rabbit judge, so it is my profession to know the intricate differences of each breed (even after many years of studying, I'll never know it all!) There are over 800 points of information to study when applying for a registrar's or judges license.

It is helpful to be able to study the different breeds "hands on" as well as reading as much as possible about them and asking breeders questions.

If there are any particular questions you'd like answered, I'd be glad to help.

yeah I guess so,I'll have to learn all the fur and eye colors of every breed how much eahc one weighs at certain times in there life....

Very busy.:bunnydance: It's fun though:)

What is even more difficult is working at a shelter with mixed breeds and have people ask" what breed is that rabbit." I usually say whatever the rabbit looks like predominantly and say the breed is "mixed"
