A local doggie day care/camp is hiring a Kennel Tech. I would die for this position right now...getting so bored with being a supervisor at my current job in the souvenir world.

I'm so scared to start new jobs, though...I am super shy and afraid to do the wrong things and ask for help . I know I could get hired...I have past experience with PetSmart in their grooming salon and I am a supervisor at my current job.


I wonder how much it pays, though. I need the same hours and pay as I have right now, or it just won't work out. I might go there tomorrow and grab an application and hand it in with a resume.

It certainly doesnt hurt to scope it out and see if it would work for you (financially as well as mentally!). then if it doesnt, no harm no foul and stay where you are. i've done that a few times looking into other positions.

Just because you go for an interview doesnt mean you ahve to take a job. Fill out an app and if you get interviewed then that is when you ask all the questions and discuess what you need and are looking for the worst that will happen is that they will want to hire you but cant pay you what you need.



I say go for it and fill out the app and try for it.

I am going to try to get there this week. They open at 8am and close at 5pm....when I am working, lol. Hopefully we will have a slow day, so I can take off early.
