Last week my Jersey wooly had her fist litter. She had them out of the nest box. She had 4 2 black and 2 REW. 1 black was DOA. The other black baby lookes fine just cold. The REW ones where 1/2 the size and the head look strange could they be peanuts? If I had that many peanuts should I not breed the pair again? Should I get a false darf to breed with her? I realy love this doe and I might just show her some more as she just got her first leg. Just wondering what I should do.

It's just the luck of the genetic straw. I've had true x true litters, and gotten no peanuts. I've had what I thought was a 3 1/2 pound BUD x true, got peanuts.

I've had MF carrier x MF carrier, gotten all MFs one breeding, got none the next round, and got half/half the third.

Really just depends on what you wanna do.

Megan is right. Just try breeding her again. Things will probably turn out very different next time. Good luck!
