OK I know poop happens lol but I clean the cages 2x a day. and I know they pee all the time in the litter but why not the poop unless they r eating. I have the hay and food and water over the litter pans and I have one pan for each bunn and when I clean up after them I put the poop back into the boxes. What in the world is going on??? Am I doing something wrong???

My 5 month old bunny, Rascal , still leaves poo around the cage. Just keep picking it up and putting it in the litter box. I think in time they will get better. :)

Oh Miss Sassy I want to but so sorry 2 say on this one I'm flustered/frustrated. My 3 girls r in a section my them selves and the 2 new ones each have their own space...I know with the new ones it will take time..they've only been here a week or so. But my girls r 6 months old now. Uggg I read all these posts with the bunny's runnin around the house like a house trained dog,I also read about them sleeping on the bed and this is my dream to have my buns do that 2 but I dont cuz when I bring them by me to sit on the floor they poop all over I spend more time picking up after them then playing with them. This happens when I bring them out together or one at a time...grrr I wish I did a better job of potty training them. OK my basement moment has come to an end lol

If their peeing in the box, thats great! Their still young. I know it stinks to clean it up. Are they fixed? Fixing them may help.

1 is going 2 b tomorrow the other 2 will be within the next few months or so. I will deal with it like I have been but just hoping their was a magic wand I could borrow to get it to b better lol

Here is my set up. I did this Fri night and took the pic about 5 min after I put the buns in their "spots"

I know what you mean. :sweep

I just posted on your other thread. That's right. I don't let my bunnies run the house til I know they are litter box trained. Daisy and Rascal are good about going back into the cage to go potty. I just got a new bonded pair that I dont let out yet til I know their not gonna pee on floor. Can they get to their litter box when they are out playing?
