Well, all this week, I've been feeling really down, because I can't go to Glastonbury Festival this year (Have you guys heard of it? A massive music festival every year, about an hour away from me, that's been going for years and years), and I've been going for the past 4 years. This year I just didn't have the money for a ticket, and decided it wasn't worth risking my health anymore.

Anyway, it was my birthday last month, so Steve got me tickets to see one of my favourite bands of all time- Editors. Some of you guys over there may not have heard of them, but I love them. I saw them at Glastonbury last year and was so happy I had tears in my eyes!!

So, we went to see them tonight, in a little town called Frome about an hour away from here. A tiny venue, but OH MY GOD THEY WERE AMAZING! I pretty much had tears in my eyes and a massive smile on my face the whole time, because I couldn't believe I was seeing my favourite band, and they were SO great! I felt so so ill during the gig but I just kept dancing and singing lol....:D:D:D:D

So, I could die a very happy woman now.... VERY happy!

Just thought you all should know that! :p:biggrin2:

Awww, that sounds amazing! I'm sure it was better seeing them at a small venue, a bit more personal. I saw Manic Street Preachers before Christmas and they have been one of my favourite bands since I was about 12, I was grinning and tearing up too! :biggrin2:

Thanks guys!

Yeah, being a small venue (it's just a little town/market hall lol) it was soooo much better, although Glastonbury was still amazing. I'm gutted that I forgot my camera though! We were so close to the stage, I would have gotten some amazing pics! I did realise shortly after we left, but we'd already gone back once cos I'd forgotten the tickets lol... :p

Doesn't quite make up for missing Glastonbury, but it's pretty close! :D And I have SUCH a sore throat today lol!

That sounds so good! I love concerts. I'm desperate to go to Glastonbury one day but the tickets are like £300 aren't they?

Fran :) :hearts :brownbunny
£160! :) They went down to £100 on Ebay this year though.... Glastonbury is AMAZING. Everybody made this big fuss about how Jay-Z was playing this year, but the bands are only really part of why it's so great! :D:D My best mate is there right now.... I'm so jealous!

Well i must make an effort to go then!

You can't buy them on eBay anymore though? When you buy them they have a picture of you printed on them so people can't sell them on the 'black market'. There was loads of stuff on the radio about it?

It must be so much fun to go. If i do go (which i WILL!) we should so totally meet up!

Yeah there was, but because the tickets didn't sell out this year, they started to sell them online, without having to register first, and in HMV! You could buy them in my local HMV in Bristol, and some other ones, and those ones didn't have pictures on.... Also, people who have stalls etc are selling spare worker's tickets too. My best friend's dad runs a tent called the Jazz Lounge, so she gets to go for free every year! Not fair!

You HAVE to go.... honestly it's well worth it. And yeah we should sooo meet up! No place for bunnies though sadly LOL!:p
