I was woken up by the thunder from the storm we're having. The lighting was green with an electrical failure noise outside. It scared the heck out of me. I went and checked out the radar online (my laptop is unplugged), and this is what I found...

Doesn't that just scream death, doom & destruction? I live by the little blue I-94 marker between Madison & Milwaukee. The red boxes show where tornadoes have been spotted. They added a 3rd one after I took this screen shot.

Hooray! We get an encore storm tonight! Look what's headed my way!

The lower-left corner is headed up my way. It gets redder and angrier looking off-radar.

Great - I am headed to Ohio tomorrow - if anyone sees a Ford F250 swirling around with a redheaded lady, a brunette son and some Checkered Giants, that would be me!

The breeder said it is 100+ F in his neck of the woods... ugh...

I've seen someone so happy to see a storm coming.
I should have put a little more sarcasm in that post. lol

I love storms, just not when they make green lightning with odd noises (from hitting power lines). The storm from last night knocked out a few power grids and the street lights up the road (for about a mile) are dead. Traffic lights are out, too.

Anytime! ;)

The big storm passed us, so we're in the clear for tonight. Will's family in Clinton Township, Michigan (North of Detroit), however, is getting pummeled with angry red radar images!

Nice. All of the Queen Anne's Lace flowers outside of my porch are plastered to the ground now. The rain washed all of the mulch out of the apartment building's flowerbeds.

Earlier today when we had some thunderstorms pass through I was hoping the power would go out at work for an hour, so I could go back and sit in the server room in the dark and snooze until the power came back on. Then after I woke up get the network back up.;)

Are you an IT guy? That sounds like the IT guys I've worked with in the past (except sometimes they didn't wait for the power to go out to nap)! :p
