OK, so, here is what happened. I was looking around in the new Drs. Foster & Smith small pet catalog. They sell a BOX with PACKING PEANUTS in it for ferrets. OK, so, here is what I am thinking. People are going to purchase this cardboard box (same as the shipping box) that are filled with packing peanuts (pet safe). THEN, this item is going to arrive at their doorstep in ANOTHER BOX, and more PACKING PEANUTS.

So, it's an eleven-dollar box of peanuts inside a box of peanuts. My brain hurts...

Ugh.

EDIT: this is even better. The picture even says "ferret not included"

I don't even know what to say anymore...

:rollseyes

you should call and ask what kind of peanuts they use to pack their normal stuff.....might be the same:idea, LOL!

I know for a fact that the peanuts are the same. Foster & Smith use all biodegradable, animals-safe peanuts. Will and I "dispose" of them in the toilet (or bathtub) because they disintegrate when water hits them. My old dog used to eat them lol (they are made of some sort of safe-for-consumption-starch).

I swear, time literally stopped when I saw this! It's like having a Starbuck's across the street from another Starbuck's! (Thank you, Lewis Black).

I think my brain stopped too. Got to love him. I refer to milk as Moo Cow....

Yeah, cause they can't put labels on the box you buy for shipping. That's hilarious!

I bet they send the box ready to asemble and pack it in the peanuts you purchase! LOL! ok this is definitely weird!

It's such a cool idea for ferrets (a box full of packing peanuts? a toy?) but I don't understand how people could be so silly and buy an $11 box, when that's how much shipping would be to get it to their house anyway!

I wonder if they just ship you a box full of peanuts. No other "shipping" box - just a box of peanuts!

Ranks right up there with the warning on coffee cups "caution contents may be hot"!

You know there would be someone that would order one of those boxes and call them back up asking where the ferrets were.

Who would Fed-Ex a ferret? Seriously!

Besides pet stores... I hated working at pet stores (shipments came through UPS).

It was always funny to open ferret boxes, though. They like, explode out!
