As some know, my wrists were bothering me SO bad a while back that I would do everything that involved moving my hands with tears in my eyes. Even the slightest movement would hurt me REAL bad. So, then went away after school finsihed, and now I am home, and they are bothering me again, Im gonna go to the doc sometime this week (i HOPE!) to see what she thinks it is.

Heres whats happening:
When I move my wrist, theres a sick poping and grinding noise in myleft wrist, and only a poping sound in myright (very quiet).
Holding them anyway hurts me BAD!
They feel numb and sore - all the time!
They are so bad twords the night that I can't get to sleep (Which is causing some late night visits to RO)
And, last but not least, my writing has went from semi-neat, to really messy, like I know fifth graders that write neater.
Oh, and also, if I sit still without moving my hands for a period of time (like 2 or 3 mins) My fingers get all stiff and locked up. Then when I start to move them, they hurt real bad, and make it difficult to do anything.

So, if anyone has any tips as to what this might be, please let me know.
By the way, if this will help at all, I am 15.

Thanks so much for reading!
Shay

Edited to say: "Oh, and also, if I sit still without moving my hands for a period of time (like 2 or 3 mins) My fingers get all stiff and locked up. Then when I start to move them, they hurt real bad, and make it difficult to do anything. "

Och that must hurt. Hmmm dose it start when you are constantly using your hands??

Is there arthrites(sorryI cant spell) in your family??

Best get to the docs :)

I wonder if it could be something like carpel tunnel syndrome, or RSI, or something like that, but best get yourself checked out to be on the safe side.

Good luck.

Wow, sounds painful

I used to get something somewhat like that a few years ago when I would be typing/drawing too much for too long of a time all at once...(I can even crack all the joints in my fingers/knuckles and my wrist, now) So it could just be that you need to take a break from the computer for a while, but definitely go see the doctor! Even if it's just that you're using them too much, the doctor could at LEAST give you the name of a good physical therapist or something :)
As for right now, it might be good to do the hot/cold thing. (Soak your hands/wrists in fairly hot, but not painful water for five minutes, then soak in ice water for five minutes, then repeat. That's what I had to do when I sprained my ankle...it really takes swelling and irritation down and improves circulation)
Good luck, and I hope you feel better soon!
