Any suggestions for brand of pellets?

I bought some hay from farmer Dave on eBay http://search.ebay.com/_W0QQfgtpZ1QQfrppZ25QQsassZfmrdave
smells wonderful and is a lot softer and notdusty.

I couldn't find Woody Pet anywhere around where I live in Clearwater, FL so i'm currently trying Yesterday's News =) I did buy the bag for cats it was 12$ for a 30lb bag instead of the Small Pet bag that was like 14$ for 20lbs. My husband is afraid that the rabbits will eat them because the kind of look like pellets.

One more thing on bonding.....I've been letting them both out to play at the same time, He chases her around and around they don't fight at all when he gets her he humps her. Should I be worried or is this just a natural part? There even pretty good with our 2 pigs i usally let them all 4 out to play at the same time.

How old are they and do they eat a lot of hay? Vets swear by Oxbow Bunny Basics T, a Timothy and other grasses-based pellet, which is what I use for Pipp because she doesn't eat hay. It's also good for overweight bunnies. But there's nothing wrong with a good quality, high fiberalfalfa pellet. The best contents, protein-wise, though, depends on their ages.

Here's a lot of info:

They may nibble at Yesterday's News, but it's unlikely to do them any harm. (My guys are chowing down cardboard boxes and even drywall so far with no ill effects -- knock on wood. Oh wait, they ate that too). And on that note, a lot of people use Wood Stove Pellets in leiu of Woody Pet.I personally don't like YN, it's dark and hard to monitor the poops and pees, and I don't like the smell, but let us know what you think).

The chasing and humping are normal, just make sure they have a lot of room (the pigs, too) to stay out of each other's way and to run away if somebunny gets overzealous or cranky.

Well, Blue still needs unlimited pellets (16% protein or higher, and at least 1% calcium -- pellets labeled 'growth' would be good if you see any). If you're feeding them separately, you can start cutting Cooter down and only feed himan eighth to a quarter cup of pellets a day if he's a small to mid-size bunny, butbetter to overfeed Cooter than underfeed Blue, so if they eat together, stick with the unlimited high protein and calcium ones for both.

I'd personally start mixing a few of theOxbow pellets in with the alfalfa just to get them used to it for later on, esp. if they're not big hay eaters.

A good pellet for both might be the Prolab Hi-Fiber, but just check the ingredients. Some of the cheaper bulk pellets are just fine.

They have there own cages, horribly not knowing any better i have been buying the brand that wal-mart carrys in the green bag i think it's call small wonders or something to that effect, i can't imagen that its good for them. I just don't know what to buy, Cooter is not over weight i think he's at a good size right now he has a 20oz bowl that i fill once a day will pellets. Blues bowl is a little bigger and i fill it once a day as well.

Whenyou switch to better brands, just make sure you do it very gradually.

And pay more attention to the contents than the brand.

Go tothat pagelink I posted andsee whatother ROMembers said aboutthedifferent pellets.
