I need help..

I have no clue what to buy two people.

One is My mother's boyfriends son. I was just going to buy him a Wii game. When my mom heard this she asked me how much a Wii game costs' and I said around 50$ give or take. Supposidly, the gift he got me is doubled that. Now i'm stumped.. What do I get a 14 (hehe yeah, 3 days older then me) for Christmas. I could easily buy two Wii games but well.. Eh..

Anyhelp ? My mom said she'd help me pay because his father helped him.

Next, After Christmas lunch with: MyTwoBrothers, AFiance, Mom, Mom's BF, Mom's BF's son, Hopefully the baby. I am going to a Christmas party held by my brothers Aunt. Hehe, I never get invited to Christmas party and I'm going there. Anyways.. I'd like to get my Brothers' Aunt a gift, as a hostess.

I have no clue what to get her, I'd like to keep it under 50$.

Hmmm. :huhI'm not really sure what to buy for him.

But does he have any hobbies? Sports? Favorite Teams? Etc.. If he does than you could possibly get him something like that for Christmas..

What about an inexpensive digital camera?

or a game and something that goes with it for the Wii?

Tickets to a game?

The hostess ...... Spa gift basket?

or have you seen our TEA thread? If she likes tea maybe you could get her a nice little teapot and some teas at a specialty store.

A gift certificate is always nice.. like a Best Buy gift certificate because then he can buy what he wants to.. if he wants a wii game he can get it, or a digi cam, or cds or whatever. $50 sounds like a perfectly nice price to spend from a 14yr old to another 14yr old. I don't get why your mom would push for you to spend more than that.

Err.. I don't know if you have Best Buys in Canada? Any big electronics store chain up there would be good.

For your aunt a gift/food basket is always a very nice idea.. there are many online sites that sell very nice gift food or fruit baskets for $30-40 and shipping is either included or maby $10/$15.

Here in the states we have these popular gift basket sites:

http://www.honeybell.com/

Or you could even save some money and shipping and make a food gift basket for her yourself by buying a basket from a local craft store, picking up some apples, oranges, nice jams she might like, and maybe a few goodies like chocolates, teas, and some candy. Then buy some colored plastic wrapping paper to wrap up the basket in and tie the top with a bow. She'll love it!

There are some Wii games that are more than $50 if you want to stick with that. Rock Band, some of the guitar hero and I'm sure there's a few others like Nerf N Strike which comes with guntype thing to load the controller in. Teenage boys are hard to buy for.

Well the gift is from my mom and I, and him and his dad. Thats why it's more. But yeah.. I'll think about buying guitar hero maybe. The thing is.. he live's in Quebec so if I get him a GiftCard to a clothing store or something he'll have to come back here which isn't on my plans. :pHe lives on the country side.. or so I hear.

And I'm not sure if she'd like a fruit basket.. and I don't think they could ship it fast enough..

look into accesories for the Wii too...you could get a game and then an extra remote or something...

notecards, stamps,a pretty pen, assorted greeting cards tucked into a wicker basket would be a good hostess gift...everybody uses those things!
