I know they are a little too young to tell, but I have picked the two "best" looking kits out of the litter. I'm not sure whether I should hang onto both or sell one. They were born March 24th 2010, so they will be six weeks soon. I know they arent posed very well lol

I like the doe MUCH better than the buck. Even in the head. o.o; I'd really sell the boy, and either breed the girl back to dad, for find some outstanding buck for her. (Unless there's a show career planned, of course. =D)

In my other post on your ML (not sure if you saw it or not), my suggestions were to consider how the rabbits will affect your herd.

He may be the best buck in the litter, but is his type superior to his father's? Does his type compliment your does' type? Does he have something to add to the herd?

If not, sell him. Your buck should be the nicest rabbit in your herd. :)

You can be a little more lenient as far as brood does, but still make sure that she has something to offer that your other rabbits don't, so that she is an improvement and not a step back.

The only time I would keep a not-the-best buck - is if I didn't have a backup buck in case something happened to my buck. Even then - whether or not I'd keep him would depend upon how much it would cost me - and how easy/hard it would be to replace my buck if he passed away. If I could replace him fairly easily for not a huge amount of money...then I'd let the younger one go.
