I made it home ok, but my car is stuck at the bottom of my driveway! :pullhair:

It's snowing really bad, plus the high winds are making drifts fast. I'm a bit surprised that I made it home at all because I could barely see 5 feet in front of the car. Interstate was "closed and impassible" which I didn't know until I got home and my MIL told me. I take the interstate most of the way home. Would have been nice if my supervisor had let us know before we left!

James is supposed to be back soon to help me get out, cause everything I do isn't working and I need help.

I should have called in sick.:grumpy:

Sounds like you are lucky to have made it home. I wonder if my parents are getting hit with snow. They are up in WI, but over near the MN/WI border and Minneapolis.

Wow, I can't believe you had to go to work. Everything here is closed...schools, allthe malls, the courthouse, pretty much everything.

The snowblower just came through my entryway (I live in a townhouse-style condo) and the snow piles on each side are over 6 ft high. And, its still coming down like crazy. I'm beginning to wonder if things will be closed tomorrow too. My work's policyis that we are closed if the public schools are closed. I don't want to get my hopes up too much :)but its been great sitting around in my pj's all day!

I hope you're able to get your car in the garage and stay inside for the rest of the night!

Aw, I'm glad you made it home! I was thinking of you today while I was watching the news at noon, they mentioned your town and how bad it was.

It's about done here, we only got about 3 more inches, but the city is running out of salt, so they are using it sparingly. Several evening activities are cancelled for tonight.

I'm ready for spring!:biggrin2:

he he. I was finishing a different post and he already got my car up! In my defense, I cleaned out the whole driveway and shoveled the car out as much as a could.

If we can choose what we come back as, I am going to come back as a house cat! My two lazy kitties usually come and meet me at the door when I come home. Today? No. Today they just stayed snuggled up together in a blanket on the couch. They didn't even have to go outside!

All that snow you are getting.... we got rain. Night before last we went out to get the dog because it was raining so hard, she was standing in a puddle around her house. She's moved in for the rest of winter I think. She's too old for that stuff. She used to love it being a lab.

Anyhow, winter is a pain sometimes!

Hehehe....I know what you mean, Naturestee...can't tell ya how many times I find myself wishing I were one of our kitties...they're SO SPOILED!!!

Danny laughs because one will jump up on the couch when I'm sitting there, and something like the remote, or my food, will be sitting next to me...and all they need to do is look at the spot, and look at me...and I'll move whatever's occupying the space, so they can plop right down and enjoy my lap. Hehe!!

Hugs! And WARM THOUGHTS!!!
