I can't post much right now it is to hard. One of our family dog (lives with my parents) has been going down hill big time. I have been trying to listen to just the good but talking to my brother and his girlfriend I knew what I had to do. I had Sarah put my mom on the phone and I didn't let up till she saw it. She couldn't so I did. I just made the call for 4:20 tomorrow to have one of our dogs pts. I can not believe I had I really wish I didn't have to but I know I do.

My pain is so big but I know it is nothing like my moms. This will destroy her. Rob will pick them up and than get me from work early. As of right now there will be atleast 4 people in the room. We convinced my brother to stay with the other two dogs.

You know, those of us who love our pets as family - we lose them like a family member as well. My heart still aches for my pets that I've lost over the years and I think of them all the time.

I know it's going to be hard and I know you are going to be mourn your dog badly.

I'm so sorry

That 's a really hard thing to go go through.. :(

Ilost my "heart" dog in 2003 and although I have Angie (hence angieluv) I still miss my Bonne.

I'm very sorry that you have to go through such a hard decision....

My sincere sympathy... I have tears in my eyes over the anguish you must be facing. My heart still hurts from making the same decision this past June.

I'm so sorry for you....

Hey Ali, How is your mom doing? How are you doing?

Thinking of you all....:(

My mom not well. She took it so hard. She kept telling Sandy she would see her soon. My mom has me worried.

Me I don't know I am at peace with it. I know we did the right thing but I just never want to make that choice again. Even Rob was effected by it.

Awww... your poor Mom. Maybe time will help heal... anythingyou can do to distract her or help her deal?
I keep calling with random information. Asking about the other dogs (who also seem to be grieving bad), ask her about her rabbits (one is prone to stasis), I send her random pictures of my guys.
