I was shaggy and needed it. Especially after I tried to trim my bangs and around my ears.

So anyway, I went to a $14 place. Good enough for now. The lady who cut my hair used some mo...mousse.. whatever, on my hair and recommended it to me so I said ok, I'll buy some.

DANG!

I spent $14 on my haircut and $15! on some junk I'll forget to use each and every time.

I never really do much with my hair. It's short, so I ignore it. Besides, I'm not the one who has to look at it. Everyone else has to, LOL.

I bought 4.2 fl oz of Matrix amplify volumizing system stuff. Maybe I should have asked how much it was before I agreed to buy but that embarasses me to ask like that. The price knocked me over though. I'm a horribly frugal person.

Anyhow, I never take many pics of myself, so here is how I look now.

She's got my hair kind of flipped up and it is windy outside so it's not impressive, but thats me.

And I have no idea what kind of face I was making. I tried to smile a few times and looked stupid so I tried not to smile and looked mean. I guess I dont know how I really look because each shot kept getting worse. That must be me trying NOT to make a face at all.

We could PM you every morning to "go use your mousse"....

:laugh:You should see my house. I have post-It notes and scraps of paper telling me what to do... vitrually everywhere.

I like that! Is the amplify in a blueish green bottle? I use that stuff - I also use a volumizing spritz stuff mostly.

It looks nice Leaf :Dits all about routine I guess!! once you have your mousse as part of it you will be fine till then you have Peg to remind you :p

Lucky you though I don't think I could find anywhere to cut hair that cheap over here!

I think we have the same stuff. This is a blue green bottle. Maybe it'll help my hair some. A few years ago I was under a lot of stress and my hair started to fall out. When it started to grow in again it came back real baby fine and kind of thin. :(

Yep! my hair is thin because that's what happens in my family and I have fine and limp but curly hair. I use that stuff in the front to give my bangs some lift...

I think it looks nice Leaf! I also like that's it's easy - my hair is really long and my other half would fall over dead if I cut it - so I'm going to start telling him to take care of it! lol.

lol at the sticky notes all over your house - they work though! :)

Oooh I like it on you.

Also try the Aussie brand. I use that stuff for my short hair. Hairspray will work too. Spray a bit on the top and flip your hair around as you spray too, then style it before it dries. I do it when my hair is wet. They have mousse, hairspray, gel and you name it all. It is pretty decent price. I pay 6 dollars for a bottle of hairspray.

I like your hair cut, too! And I think the picture is nice. We seem to have the same approach to hair care, mine is just kinda there. I wash it every day and usually wear it in a pony tail. I'm actually too cheap to go to the hair cut place and pay, so last time my boyfriend cut it... It doesn't look that great, but hey! More incentive to wear pony tails! Also, your comment about taking pictures of yourself made me laugh. That's a good way of describing how I am with pictures!

We also like Tressume' products and they are much cheaper.

When Lexi shows the horse, she has to have her hair up in her helmet or basically stiff - you don't want any movement.... we do some serious hairspraying! LOL!
